while the staff at Shin Okubo Sekitei are sweet, I was appalled they have no elevator. Also, the room could have offered better cleanliness. discovering stray hairs was a delightful surprise, just not in a good way! I almost gave a great review but just couldn’t.

This place was just a smart choice for a little getaway in Tokyo with good price-value balance. The futon setup in the room took me back to traditional times and added to the experience. Make sure to ask about getting an extra futon if you're sensitive to back pain.
